Rhumba Ambassador Ferré Gola’s New Song, “Amour Illusoire,” Is a Serenade

Ferré Gola, the renowned Congolese crooner and esteemed Ambassador for Rhumba, is pleased to announce the release of his most recent single, “Amour Illusoire.” Sung primarily in French, this poignant song skillfully combines his remarkable voice talent with the angelic piano’s emotional resonance and the classic elegance of Rhumba.

The song “Amour Illusoire,” which translates to “Illusory Love,” combines traditional Rhumba rhythms with modern French musicality, demonstrating Gola’s adaptability and timeless talent. It establishes him as a major global spokesperson for African music and culture in addition to being a Congolese icon. The song comes after Ferré Gola’s much-anticipated Padre’s Major performance was announced. It is scheduled on June 7, 2025, at the ING Arena in Brussels.
