Tyler Perry’s upcoming series ‘Divorced Sistas’ is scheduled to premiere on BET+ this June

Tyler Perry’s brand-new original series on BET+ is heating things up this summer. On Monday, June 9, the same day as the 2025 BET Awards, Divorced Sistas, a new spinoff of the Sistas universe, will premiere on BET. It will also be streamed on BET+ beginning on June 10.

The drama is the first program to emerge from Perry’s freshly extended multi-year content agreement with BET Media Group. It examines friendship, tragedy, and healing. For a Black creator, the deal is among the biggest in the entertainment sector.

Divorced Sistas chronicles the highs and lows of life after divorce for five close-knit women: Bridgette, Tiffany, Geneva, Naomi, and Rasha. Although they have a close link, they will have to test their sisterhood in the face of new hardships.

Porscha Coleman (Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!), Briana Price (Step Up: High Water), Jennifer Sears (Madea’s Family Funeral), RonReaco Lee (Survivor’s Remorse), DeVon Franklin (Kingdom Business), Donovan Christie Jr. (The Oval), Robert Christopher Riley (Dynasty), and LeToya Luckett (Greenleaf) are among the star-studded cast.

The program, which Perry created, wrote, and directed, is produced by Tyler Perry Studios, where he also acts as executive producer.
