Chris Brown Faces New Lawsuit Due to Social Media Embarrassment

Chris Brown keeps getting caught up in legal issues, and now he has another one on his to-do list.

Another action, filed by a woman who claims she was humiliated by the fantastic singer, has made reference to him. The singer is currently involved in multiple ongoing legal proceedings.

This new complaint is part of Chris Brown’s ongoing legal battle against Warner Bros. and its creators for pushing a film that disparages him and his brand.

According to the plaintiff, Chris Brown posted a distorted video of her.

In her case, Angela Reliford claimed that the singer had publicly insulted her on social media, causing her mental distress and serious harm to her reputation.

According to Reliford, who filed the lawsuit on her own without legal counsel, Brown violated her privacy and misrepresented her. In her lawsuit, she cited Brown’s social media following of more than 145 million.

In addition to her photo from an erroneous arrest, she said he had reposted a modified video of her that featured distorted audio and menacing music. Inaccurate captions on the video also implied that she meant to hurt Brown and his dancers.

According to Reliford’s argument, which was relayed by In Touch, Brown distributed this modified film to millions of followers without checking its veracity or taking into account the possible harm it would cause to her.

The Accuser of the Singer argued that the video was a false portrayal of her.

The “Residuals” singer, according to Relifod, intentionally reposted a modified video that she feels misrepresents her character by portraying her as unstable and violent.

She says Brown’s failure to check the content before disseminating it to his wide audience was a reckless disregard for the truth. According to the plaintiff, his acts have caused her reputation to be seriously damaged.

She has apparently been the target of emotional turmoil, including threats and harassment from the singer’s followers, as well as public mockery. She added that Brown’s reputation has been further harmed by the fact that several blogs have written about her post.

Brown has not yet addressed these claims in court, and the accuser is now requesting undisclosed damages for the supposed damage to her reputation.

The other ongoing case that Brown has is against Warner Bros.

It’s not just Relifod who is cleansing her reputation; the actor is also doing the same with Warner Bros. Brown sued a docuseries’ creators in January, according to The Blast, claiming that the show included false storylines and defamatory remarks about him.

His charges were aimed at Ample, Warner Bros. Discovery, and other people that worked on the show’s creation. The musician denied being a “serial rapist and a sexual abuser,” emphasizing his innocence of any sex-related offenses.

Additionally, he pointed out that the project’s protagonist had backtracked and admitted that her charges were unfounded. In response to his problems, the artist is now demanding $500 million from the producing business.

Additionally, the Grammy winner and his former housekeeper are at odds in court.

The singer’s former domestic worker also filed a lawsuit against him, claiming that while she was employed there, a dog attacked her in his house.

According to information obtained by The Blast, the incident allegedly caused her to sustain lifelong bodily harm in addition to serious injuries to her arms and face.

Owing to the occurrence, the artist was the target of grave charges from her lawyer, who said he witnessed the attack but did nothing to stop it. To hide the incident, he allegedly ordered his bodyguards to get rid of the dog instead.

It is said that the dog was taken by the bodyguards to Humboldt County in Northern California, where it was left. Once the animal was found, it was put down by the local humane society.

When the artist failed to take Avila to the hospital or provide any support after the incident, her lawyer chastised him for his lack of action. Photos of her injuries were also provided by the former housekeeper to support her claim.

Chris Brown Launches A New Tour To Honor His 20 Years In The Business

Additionally, in March 2025, Brown announced a massive tour to celebrate “20 years of Chris Brown,” which The Blast reported would be called the “Breezy Bowl.”

Special guests including Summer Walker and Bryson Tiller will be on the tour. In his ebullient Instagram post, he promised to give it his all while guiding his fans through his artistic eras, expressing his pleasure at sharing this milestone with them.

Early June is when the tour’s European leg is scheduled to begin, with stops in Amsterdam, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Manchester, Cardiff, London, and Paris.

In addition to the DMV area, Brown will play in Miami, Tampa, Pennsylvania, Detroit, Chicago, Houston, Atlanta, and other locations throughout the North American leg. Denver, San Antonio, and Orlando have also announced more dates.

Where will this new lawsuit go in light of the tour and other lawsuits Chris Brown is facing?
