Cory Hardrict, an actor, explains why his divorce from Tia Mowry won’t be “messy”

For the benefit of his kids, Cory Hardrict is unwilling to have a “messy” divorce.

After 15 years together, the 45-year-old actor ended his marriage to 46-year-old Tia Mowry, a former “Sister, Sister” star, in 2023. However, he purposefully “blocks out the noise” in order to “represent” his children.

Speaking on “Sherri,” Cory, who has a 13-year-old boy named Creo and a 6-year-old daughter named Cairo with Tia, stated: “Love is the beginning and the end of everything.” Regardless of what others may say, we are a family. I shut off the sound. One day, my children will live to witness this, and I will always speak up for them.

“You won’t join in on the chaos or the noise if you truly love your kids.” I always make care to consider them first. I prioritized myself last. You will avoid the mess if you do that.

His remarks follow Tia’s disclosure that Cory had been her “first everything” and that, in terms of relationships, she had only really truly experienced their marriage.

“You know I’ve never dated,” she said in a candid section on her WeTV reality show, Tia Mowry: My Next Act. My first everything was Cory.

“I wasn’t even permitted to date until I turned eighteen.” At twenty-five, I lost my virginity and met Cory. I said it there! After that, we were married! Boom!

The former Nickelodeon star briefly tried dating again before taking a hiatus since she was having trouble finding someone who wasn’t drawn to her notoriety.
