Warner Bros. Demands “Free Speech” From Chris Brown As $500 Million Suit Gets Worse
The legal battle between Warner Bros., Ample, and Chris Brown is intensifying!
The “Chris Brown: A History of Violence” documentary’s creators and the R&B singer have intensified their back-and-forth, with the production companies claiming they did nothing wrong.
Chris Brown accused Warner Bros. of publicly endorsing a project that he believed to be libelous in January. According to him, the initiative misrepresented him as having raped several women and carried out other violent crimes.
It was suggested that Chris Brown pay the legal fees for the ongoing case.
According to his initial complaint, Ample and Warner Bros. responded to Brown in court this week, defending themselves against accusations of misconduct. Citing free expression as a key component of their case, the producers vehemently refuted the allegations. According to their attorney, Brown’s assertions lacked a solid foundation.
They further maintained that all of the representations were either essentially true or not materially false. Additionally, they argued that the singer, a well-known individual, was unable to demonstrate that the defendants’ remarks about him were motivated by genuine malice.
The producers also requested the court to dismiss the case, rejecting Brown’s claim that their conduct caused him severe distress. The accused also asked that the performers be held liable for their legal bills, according to In Touch.
The singer of “New Flame” maintained that he had never been charged with any sexual offense.
Brown said that the docuseries is full of false storylines in the lawsuit he filed against its creators in January. He accused Ample, Warner Bros. Discovery, and other production companies of circulating false information about him.
According to The Blast, the musician denied ever committing any sex-related offenses, refuting the notion that he is a “serial rapist and a sexual abuser.”
Furthermore, he noted that the docuseries’ protagonist had retracted her case after acknowledging that her accusations were false.

Brown voiced his deep criticism of the production team for using an outdated story to gain notoriety and financial gain. He asserted that the stories portrayed in the documentary series damaged his reputation, career, and commercial prospects in addition to bringing up unpleasant memories.
He accused the producers and the show’s protagonist of trying to damage his reputation by ignoring important information that showed he was innocent.
Brown considered the drawn-out process of clearing his contentious reputation, pointing out that it has taken more than ten years and that he is still working on it.
He acknowledged his history of domestic abuse, especially against Rihanna, and that he had accepted responsibility for his previous transgressions. He also mentioned that he has grown significantly both personally and professionally since then.
In the event that he won, the artist pledged to provide the $500 million in damages that he had asked to victims of sexual abuse.
A former housekeeper criticized the Grammy winner for destroying evidence in a dog attack lawsuit.
In addition, Brown is embroiled in yet another legal dispute with his former domestic helper, who brought him before the court over a dog attack. Maria Avila stated in a report published by The Blast that she suffered serious injuries and irreversible harm to her face and other sensitive areas of her body as a result of the attack.
According to Avila’s attorney, the singer saw the assault but did nothing to stop it. In order to remove pieces of evidence, he allegedly told his bodyguards to get rid of the dog.
Her puppy was moved to Humboldt County in Northern California by the bodyguards involved, who eventually left it there. Soon after the dog was found, it was put down by the humane organization.
Additionally, he is accused of neglecting to transport her to the hospital or offer any assistance after the assault. After that, Avila showed pictures of her wounds.
According to reports, Chris Brown has ignored several requests for depositions.
In order to address a number of concerns in her case, including her desire to depose the singer and a representative of his business, Black Pyramid LLC, the former housekeeper asked for a court hearing.
Regretfully, neither party has agreed to supply witnesses for the deposition procedure. Given that they have contacted the singer six times in February and March with no answer, Avila’s lawyer emphasized the challenge of setting up the artist’s deposition.
The former maid described in her lawsuit the graphic event in which she and her sister were working in Chris’s Los Angeles home when she was attacked by a huge Orvchake/Caucasian Shepherd dog.
According to Avila, the attack occurred as she was taking out the trash. According to the photographic proof of her injuries, which she included with her demand for $90 million in damages from Brown, the dog allegedly tore off significant portions of her skin.
How will Chris Brown and the makers of the documentary series be hit by the hammer of justice?
