Reports indicate that the Bills are set to sign a 5-time Pro Bowl defensive end Joey Bosa
Joey Bosa, a defensive end, allegedly agreed to a one-year contract worth $12.6 million with the Buffalo Bills on Tuesday.
NFL Network estimates the deal might be worth $15.6 million.
Before being cut loose on March 5, Bosa spent the first nine seasons of his NFL career with the Los Angeles Chargers.
Bosa, the second-highest number of sacks in Chargers history with 72, was selected third overall in the 2016 NFL Draft. The 29-year-old has been selected to the Pro Bowl five times.
The outstanding pass rusher has been limited by injuries in recent years; in 2022 and 2023, he only appeared in five and nine games, respectively. Bosa played in 14 games during the previous season and recorded two forced fumbles, five sacks, and 22 tackles. He produced 13 quarterback hits and 19 quarterback pressures.
Von Miller, a 35-year-old former Pro Bowl player who was cut by the Bills on Saturday after three seasons with the organization, is effectively replaced by the veteran.
