A Russian lawmaker demands that any agreement pertaining to Ukraine be made on Moscow’s terms rather than Washington’s

A top Russian lawmaker has stated that any deal pertaining to Ukraine must be in line with Moscow’s demands rather than those of the United States.

A top Russian politician responded to a ceasefire proposal made by Ukrainian and US officials on Wednesday, saying that Moscow, not Washington, will dictate any agreement on Ukraine.

According to Konstantin Kosachev, head of Russia’s Federation Council’s international affairs committee, the conditions of any agreement would be influenced by Russia’s military developments.

“It will be different with Russia because of Russia’s progress (in Ukraine),” Kosachev wrote on Telegram.

“Any agreements—while acknowledging the necessity of compromise—must be made on our terms, not on American ones.” The fact that actual agreements are still being drafted there, at the front, is acknowledged rather than boasted about. which Washington should also comprehend.
