Liverpool Signs a Multi-Year Contract With Adidas, Shutting Nike
Adidas and Liverpool have reached an agreement for a multi-year clothing arrangement that will begin next season and replace the sportswear behemoth Nike.
The arrangement is valued at about 60 million pounds ($77.36 million) a year, according to British media.
From 1985 until 1996 and again from 2006 to 2012, the team wore Adidas.
In a statement released on Monday, Liverpool Chief Executive Billy Hogan said, “Everyone at the club is incredibly excited to welcome adidas back into the LFC family.”
Together, we have achieved great success in the past and produced some of the most recognizable LFC uniforms ever.
Adidas and Liverpool both want to be successful, so we’re excited to collaborate again and create even more incredible outfits to boost on-field performance.
Liverpool’s clothes have been provided by Nike for the past five seasons.
The partnership will begin on August 1st, 2025.
