Brandon Ingram of the Raptors agrees to a $120 million deal
Brandon Ingram, a forward with the Toronto Raptors, has agreed to a three-year, $120 million contract deal, his agents announced to ESPN on Tuesday.
Since joining the Raptors in a deal that sent Bruce Brown and Kelly Olynyk to the New Orleans Pelicans last Thursday, Ingram, 27, has not practiced.
With an ankle ailment that has kept him out since December 7, Ingram is supposedly aiming to return after this weekend’s All-Star break.
Rich Paul, the CEO of Klutch Sports, and agents Shy Saee and Mike George have stated that the agreement with Toronto also contains a player option in 2027–2028.
In 18 games this season, Ingram, who was named an All-Star in 2019–20, is averaging 22.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 5.2 assists. He has played in 495 games (456 starts) with the Pelicans and the Los Angeles Lakers (2016–19), averaging 19.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.3 assists. In 2016, he was selected No. 2 overall by the Lakers.
