Sirianni reviews the heartbreaking Super Bowl loss while honing the Chiefs’ tactics
Head coach Nick Sirianni of the Philadelphia Eagles stated that he was going over his notes from the team’s devastating Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs two years prior in an effort to prevent a repetition of that event in New Orleans.
Sirianni feels he has the winning recipe when the two teams play again next month. In Super Bowl 57, the Chiefs won 38-35, and the Eagles lost a 10-point halftime lead.
“We have been looking over the notes that we have available. “There are a few changes that we will make here and there, and a few things that will remain the same,” he told reporters on Tuesday, refusing to discuss specific adjustments.
“Any time you go through any situation like that you take notes, and you try to get better from each circumstance you go through.”
The squad defeated the Washington Commanders 55-23 on Sunday, and quarterback Jalen Hurts quiet fears about a knee issue by scoring four touchdowns, including three that he ran in himself.
After being taken off the disabled list just three days earlier, Hurts subsequently quipped that he felt as if Sirianni had released him from his “straitjacket.”
When questioned about the remark, Sirianni responded, “I think he was having fun after the game,” “However we win is irrelevant to me as long as we do. Love the way he went out and did it.
New Orleans’ Superdome will host the Super Bowl on February 9.
