50 Cent Makes Fun of the Attorney for a Man Filing a Suit Against Him for Alleged Assault
50 Cent says he doesn’t have the funds to pay for an old friend’s purported assault lawsuit extortion plot.
Attorney Gloria Allred is the most recent target of the hip-hop legend’s tongue-lashing, who is notorious for never holding back when discussing the things he finds objectionable.
50 Cent recently criticized the lawyer on Instagram after she chose to defend a man who was accused of assault. He chastised Gloria Allred for trying to change things up with the lawsuit and disclosed that the two were not strangers.
50 Cent Attacks His Lawyer for Attempting to Coerce Him
The rapper from “In da Club” posted two pictures of the legal representative, the first of which showed them grinning at one another. Although their affectionate looks suggested a tight relationship, 50 Cent dispelled that theory in his comments, saying they didn’t have a particularly strong friendship.
“The realization that I dislike attorneys. The performer wrote, “Gloria, you should know better. Chase a different ambulance.” In a second post, he shared a picture of them sitting hand in hand and repeated similar feelings about Allred trying to extort money from him with the assault case.
“Gloria, if you phone me, I’ll take you out to supper, but you won’t get any money that way. 50 Cent teased, “LOL.” He also posted a screenshot of his legal team’s response to the assault claims, in which they stated that Allred’s law company had not served the rapper with the complaint.
What Was Said by the ‘Power’ Star’s Group?
The claimed victim had not served the media celebrity with the assault complaint, nor had their team received a filed copy, according to a statement provided by 50 Cent’s lawyer. However, the attorney emphasized that once they appeared in court, they intended to contest the allegations.
“If and when such a frivolous claim is filed and served, rest assured that Mr. Jackson’s legal team will swiftly move to dismiss the matter and seek the maximum costs, fees, sanctions, and other remedies that are available under law,” the lawyer stated.
According to TMZ, the representative stated, “Based upon the leaked reports presumably by Ms. Allred, Mr. Jackson is not alleged to be the driver of the vehicle or even the individual who the Plaintiff paparazzi alleges opened the door as he charged a vehicle as it drove away from the bookstore.”
The Alleged Assault Lawsuit Inside
The publication said that the assault claims had been made public in L.A. Superior Court on Monday afternoon, despite 50 Cent’s corner believing Allred had leaked the lawsuit’s specifics. According to the paperwork, the rapper was sued by a guy called Guadalupe De Los Santos for beating him with his SUV.
On September 11, 2024, the alleged victim said, he was at 50 Cent’s book signing event at The Grove in Los Angeles when the incident happened. He was there as a paparazzi to record the performer and had no issues till the event was over.
Guadalupe stated that 50 Cent’s SUV drew up next him at a red light as he was filming on a neighboring street. He was knocked off his scooter as the front passenger door abruptly and violently flew open, striking his left side.
The alleged victim thinks the assault was deliberate.
Guadalupe claims that his scooter was badly damaged and unusable when he struck the pavement, causing him to sustain physical injuries. He said that 50 Cent orchestrated the assault because he thought he gave the order for the front passenger to strike him with the SUV door.
The complainant emphasized that unless it was done on purpose to harm him, there was no justification for the door to open at a red light. He allegedly sued for damages after the event left him unable to work due to his injuries and mounting healthcare costs.
Three months after 50 Cent landed his first-ever residency contract in Las Vegas, the assault complaint was filed. Last October, The Blast reported that the well-known rapper will be performing live from December 2024 to January 2025.
In his first residency in Las Vegas, 50 Cent strikes a huge deal.
With an estimated $15 million, the rapper-turned-TV-producer secured a huge contract for a run of six performances at PH Live, located within the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Fans were promised a number of thrilling moments and some surprises during the shows.
50 Cent’s Sire Spirits brand hosted a special New Year’s Eve party at his Las Vegas shows. Furthermore, “50 Cent: In Da Club” was billed as an event that would be distinct from the rapper’s past performances.
The performance was a great way for the performer to end 2024, even if he ran afoul of the law after using his microphone to strike a fan. Following problems with the sound equipment, an irate 50 Cent threw his microphone into the audience during a 2023 performance in Los Angeles.
The rapper was sued for violence by Bryhana Monegain, who claimed to have been struck by the microphone. According to her complaint, “Immediately after the incident, she was transported by ambulance to the Los Angeles General Medical Center emergency department for treatment of injuries.”
Will 50 Cent prevail in his most recent legal battle?
