White jerseys will be worn by the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX

In Super Bowl LIX, the Chiefs will don their away white jerseys, which they wore in the championship game against the Philadelphia Eagles two years prior.

Because the game is being played in New Orleans, an NFC host market, on February 9, the Eagles are regarded as the home team and can choose the color of their jerseys. They chose to wear the green jerseys they had worn at home in each of their four prior Super Bowl outings. Philadelphia’s all-time record in the big game is 1-3.

The Chiefs defeated the Eagles 38-35 in Super Bowl LVII in Glendale, Arizona, two years ago.

In their first Super Bowl defeat to the Green Bay Packers, the Chiefs again donned white.

To win the Super Bowl for the third time in a row, Kansas City is competing. In their 25–22 overtime victory over the San Francisco 49ers last year, the Chiefs donned their home red uniforms.
