After a challenging summer during which she was detained on charges of domestic abuse, Skai received good news.

Police were summoned to Universal CityWalk in Los Angeles in August after security noticed Skai and her boyfriend fighting, leading to the former “Dancing With the Stars” contestant’s arrest.

The office of the Los Angeles County DA, however, later decided not to prosecute her.

“Skai is relieved that the investigation showed that this was nothing more than a misunderstanding,” a Skai representative stated. We value the DA’s prompt decision that there should be no charges brought against Skai, and she is eager to move on from this.

Skai shoved her partner “more than once,” according to an earlier TMZ story, and the two were held by security until police could come.

According to reports, Skai and her boyfriend claimed police they were engaged and denied ever getting into a violent altercation.

According to the sheriff’s office at the time, there were no weapons used and no visible injuries.
