Mabel and King Promise, a Ghanaian artist, collaborate on the hit song “All Over You”

Mabel released the catchy new tune “All Over You” last month after the group’s unexpected appearance at King Promise’s main event in London. 

This Amapiano-infused collaboration, which was produced in Lagos by Afrobeats powerhouse Magicsticks (Asake, Central Cee, and Davido), combines throbbing percussions with Mabel’s smooth harmonies and a powerful lyric from King Promise to create a passionate confession of love and admiration. Nathan James Tetty also directed the official music video for the tune.

Mabel said, “To be honest, I really want the song to speak for itself,” in reference to the single. It’s my way of reconnecting with an aspect of myself that I haven’t musically explored in a long time. As a fan of Magicsticks’ work, I traveled to Lagos to make this song with him, and we had a great time. King Promise gave the song a lovely depth, and I can’t wait to hear much more from him.

King Promise went on to say: As soon as I heard this album, I knew I had to get on it. It sounded just like something I would have created and written myself. I love narrating stories via music, and it’s even better when you can get people to dance at the same time. From the moment we connected, there was a positive atmosphere and Mabel is incredible.
