Jeannie Mai calls the police in a never-ending, messy battle with her estranged husband, Jeezy
When her spouse refused to let her transfer her stuff, the TV star turned to calling the police to her estranged home.
Although their divorce was finalized in June 2024, Jeannie Mai and Jeezy’s most recent quarrel apparently started in November 2024.
Jeezy’s alleged invasion of privacy was refuted by Jeannie Mai’s attorneys.
Mai said the court she was turned away when she went to Jeezy’s house to pick up boxes of her personal belongings. The celebrity’s attorneys asserted that she had no intention of violating Jeezy’s privacy or setting up any recording equipment in the house.
When Mai and her movers arrived at her estranged husband’s mansion on December 9, 2024, she reaffirmed that her main concern was making sure she didn’t leave any personal belongings behind.
Additionally, she stated that Jeezy’s house manager, “on the orders of [Jeezy],” denied her and her security team entry “to the garage, where her items were stored.”
“Infactthe house manager called [Jeezy], who again confirmed that [Jeannie] and her movers were not to access her items, disregarding the court order entirely,” she stated in her motion.
Choosing to “gather a report on [Jeannie’s] denial of access,” Mai called the Atlanta Police Department to the location. [Jeannie] was consistently the epitome of professionalism.
According to In Touch, her attorneys reaffirmed that “the police were called to report that the court order was being violated, not to make a scene.”
Upon entering, the red carpet host bemoaned the state of her boxes.
The house manager had to rapidly adjust and implement a new entrance restriction after the police officer informed them that a court order was being violated.
Next, under Jeezy’s direction, the house manager made sure that anyone coming in on Mai’s behalf had to sign a non-disclosure agreement. Upon gaining entry, Mai remarked that it was uncomfortable to view her boxes because they were badly damaged.
The rapper’s attorney reportedly praised him for protecting her belongings, but Mai’s boxes, which held “immeasurable personal value,” were left in disarray.
“Personal belongings had been harmed by the water seeping through the damp boxes. Mouse traps were placed in the garage, most likely to catch mice that had gnawed through some of the crates. So wrote Jeannie’s attorney.
It was also alleged that a number of the TV personality’s trophies were “broken and scratched.”
Jeezy said he was afraid for his safety when the fashion influencer entered his building.
Jeezy himself rejected Mai visiting his home, therefore the house manager’s actions were not unusual, as Mai explained. He promptly asked for a change to the decree after the court decided that the celebrity could retrieve her belongings from his house in less than 21 days.
According to the rapper, he did not trust his ex-wife to refrain from trying to break the law and ruin his career in the same way that she had in the past. In the words of the rapper’s attorney:
“[Jeezy] feels unsafe because [Jeannie] is living with him. Since [Jeannie] has a history of using false information to try to ruin [Jeezy’s] career, [Jeezy] would be unable to determine whether [Jeannie] is setting up cameras or listening devices in his house.”
According to the attorney, Mai is angry about the divorce and wants retribution. The E! Celebrity’s presence in Jeezy’s house, he added, would disturb his client’s tranquility and infringe upon his privacy, particularly following their acrimonious divorce.
The rapper who sent her a subpoena was criticized by Mai.
According to The Blast, the anchor asked the court to reject a subpoena she had received from the rapper in November of last year. Jeezy requested Mai’s financial information from the National City Bank in the document.
He also requested proof of withdrawals from designated bank accounts prior to November 1st, deposit slips, and statements from her personal and corporate bank accounts. She said he sent one on October 22 and filed another on October 28, and that he did so to torment her.
Jeezy’s team failed to provide Mai with an update, so she claimed to be unaware of the initial subpoena’s submission. It was referred to as a “secret subpoena” in the person’s petition.
Inside the snarky divorce petition filed by Jeannie Mai and Jeezy
Two years following Mai’s wedding to her ideal partner, the frenzied romance and marriage—which resulted in a daughter—came to an abrupt end.
Jeezy ended the marriage, and in his lawsuit, he called it “irretrievably broken” and said there was no chance of reconciliation.
The presenter of “How Do I Look” did the same, accusing the rapper of “domestic violence,” excessive and careless drinking, and stepping out on her.
She claimed that the artist had frightening outbursts and tantrums all the time. By labeling these assertions as untrue and extremely unsettling, Jeezy refuted them.
