Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, and Elon Musk will all sit together at Trump’s inauguration as part of the Billionaire’s Club
A number of the wealthiest businesspeople in the nation will be present for Donald Trump’s inauguration, even sharing seats.
According to an event planner, billionaires Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Mark Zuckerberg would be in prominent places during the ceremony alongside elected leaders and Cabinet nominees. As Trump enters the next four years, these IT sector titans, whose combined fortune exceeds $885 billion according to Bloomberg, provide a significant amount of power.
Musk, a prominent member of Trump’s recently established DOGE advisory group, has supported the convicted criminal since he endorsed him in July and has given the campaign more than $250 million. Zuckerberg contributed $1 million to the first fund and modified content restrictions and lobbying tactics.
Bezos, the owner of The Washington Post, defied staff members who backed Democratic candidate Kamala Harris by opting for neutrality throughout the presidential contest. Amazon, Bezos’s retail empire, contributed $1 million of its own.
Despite their prior rivalry, Bezos, Musk, and Zuckerberg all have fresh prospects as a result of Trump’s second term in office.
Amazon and SpaceX manage federal contracts that are essential to their business operations, while Meta is under antitrust review. Each of their commercial problems may be alleviated by continuing to be friendly with Trump.
