NBA YoungBoy is scheduled to be released from prison in July 2025

The Rapper served time for federal firearms violations and entered a guilty plea to fraud charges before being granted early release.

Unexpectedly, NBA YoungBoy will return home.

On July 27, 2025, the rapper will be freed after receiving a sentence of 60 months on probation and 23 months in jail on federal firearms charges.

In connection with a purported prescription medication fraud scam, YoungBoy was arrested on 63 counts at his Utah residence earlier in April. He was waiting for his trial on federal firearms charges and had already been in house arrest for two years at that point.

In November, he entered a guilty plea to 10 counts in the fraud case and entered a no contest plea to 36 more charges. He was given a $25,000 fine, but as he was already doing time for the firearms crimes, he was spared additional jail time.

Since it cuts down on his jail sentence, this revelation has shocked many. Fans are excited to witness the rapper’s next move.
