José Mourinho declares his will to coach a national team

The 61-year-old coach José Mourinho, who is currently in charge of Fenerbahçe, has stated that he hopes to lead a national team before his remarkable career comes to an end.

The Portuguese strategist expressed his wish to play in a major international competition such as the World Cup or Euro in an interview with Corriere dello Sport.

Mourinho, who is renowned for bringing supporters together at every club he has led, hopes to accomplish the same feat with a national side, hoping to use football to unite the nation. “As I’ve done with the clubs I’ve coached, I want to bring the nation together around a team,” Mourinho stated. “To experience that would be amazing.”
