Coach of Galatasaray: Hakim Ziyech will depart
Okan Buruk, the coach of Galatasaray, has confirmed that Moroccan star Hakim Ziyech will depart the club as soon as feasible.
In recent times, Ziyech, 31, has expressed his frustration with Buruk and the Turkish Super Lig heavyweights. The former Chelsea and Ajax player was loaned to Gala for the latter half of the previous season before committing to a permanent contract in Istanbul.
Nevertheless, the Moroccan winger has encountered significant difficulties this season, as he has only been able to receive three appearances. As a result, he has expressed his intention to depart the team.
“My time at Galatasaray has concluded.” I am no longer interested in participating in this activity. Ziyech declared, “I shall depart in January.”
“I have never encountered a coach of such a low caliber.” I am not particularly concerned about whether or not my decision to join Galatasaray was a miscalculation. I desire to be left alone, regardless of the circumstances. I repent my decision to visit this location.
Buruk responded by stating, “I have talked to Ziyech.” He has informed us that he is dissatisfied with his playing time and intends to engage in discussions with other teams upon the opening of the transfer window.
“He is dissatisfied because he is not participating and is on the brink of leaving the club.”
Rennes, a Ligue 1 club, and numerous Premier League teams are purportedly interested in acquiring Ziyech. Nevertheless, his salary demands may complicate potential transfer negotiations as the January transfer window approaches.
