The estranged wife of Chance the rapper files for divorce

The estranged wife of Chance the Rapper, Kirsten Corley, has filed for divorce.

The 31-year-old hip-hop artist, whose real name is Chancelor Bennett, and his spouse announced their separation in April. According to TMZ, she formally ended their marriage on Friday by filing for divorce.

It’s unclear if Kirsten is currently looking for spousal support for their kids, Marli, age five, and Kensli, age nine.

In 2019, Chance married influencer Kirsten, however the couple later disclosed that they had “amicably” decided to divorce.

The ex-couple posted a joint statement on Instagram, saying: “The two of us have decided to separate ways after a period of separation.

“We reached this choice in good faith and with appreciation for the time we had together.

“We are grateful to God for our two lovely girls, whom we will continue to nurture together.

During this changeover, we respectfully request your privacy. Thank you. Chance Kirsten.

Kristen and Chance had known one another since they were little. In 2013, they began dating, and two years later, they welcomed their first child. They eventually got back together after a brief breakup in 2016, and he proposed in 2018. After being married, they welcomed their second kid a few months later.

As previously mentioned, Chance talked on his relationship with Kirsten and his gratitude for being able to raise children with her.
