Will Smith denied having any relationship to Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Will, 56, addressed memes that associate him with Diddy, who is presently in jail awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking allegations, during a recent concert in San Diego.

According to TMZ, he stated: “You know, given the society we live in now, it’s really difficult for you guys to tell what’s true and what’s real. You guys have been posting memes and other content. A few of those things are humorous. I want to make it very obvious that I have nothing to do with Puffy, so you guys can stop making memes about him. I haven’t publicly addressed any of this. All that b* can be done.

I’m not even close to that man, and I didn’t do any of that dumb shit. If someone says that, it’s a blatant lie, so keep that in mind everytime you hear it.

In September, Diddy was indicted on counts of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution; he is currently in federal detention in New York.

In what has turned into a careless media circus, his attorneys informed PEOPLE that “[He] cannot address every meritless allegation but he emphatically” denies sexually abusing anyone.

Having voluntarily withdrawn his bail application, he will be held in custody until his trial in May 2025.
