Timberwolves G. Anthony Edwards was fined $25K for using foul language

Anthony Edwards, a guard with the Minnesota Timberwolves, was fined $25,000 by the NBA on Monday for using foul language in a press conference.

The incident happened during Friday night’s postgame media availability following the Timberwolves’ 107-90 victory over Golden State. In the victory, he made 11 of 18 shots to score 30 points.

In 23 starts this season, Edwards, the top choice in the 2020 NBA Draft, is averaging a career-high 26.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 4.0 assists.
