Katt Williams Shares His Reasons for Including Diddy in His Portal of Hate on ‘Club Shay Shay’ Episode

He also called the head of Bad Boy a “demon” in a new interview.

Katt Williams “opened a portal of hate” when he said in his now-famous Club Shay Shay interview that “all of these deviants are catching hell in 2024.” This joke has been going around for a year. The joke caught on because some of what he said turned out to be true. In particular, his comment about Sean “Diddy” Combs has been brought up a lot since Combs’ recent legal problems.

Williams told Shannon Sharpe, the host, about the famous Dave Chappell case in which he turned down $50 million from Comedy Central: “P Diddy be wanting to party, and you’ve got to tell him no.” Yes, I did, and I have the records. The American Hustle star told GQ in a new interview more about why he talked about the Bad Boy boss in that way.

He started to explain by talking about how he knew Tupac. “Tupac was my favorite artist when I was younger.” Oh, I loved Tupac. I thought we were similar in a lot of ways. He was talking about the rumors that Diddy may have had something to do with Pac’s death. “So if I hear you responsible for knocking my n**ga off…”

It didn’t matter to him what job he had or how things went; as long as he could find a way to get her, that was all that they cared about. I don’t like how you’re getting away with things.

The fact that Williams called the father of six children a “demon” made it clear that he didn’t like the dirty businessman. “You’re a demon, and I know demons are strong, but I know why they’re strong…” There is cold spiritual war going on in the real world. “And it’s part of my job to keep that in mind,” he said.

In September, eight months after the well-known talk with Club Shay Shay, Diddy was arrested in New York City. As part of a racketeering plot, he was charged with sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, as well as transportation to engage in prostitution. The “I Need A Girl” singer has been held in the MDC Brooklyn since then and has been turned down twice for bail.
