The man who left a bag of explosives at a Berlin train station and then ran away is being sought by German police.

German police are looking for a guy who left a bag full of explosives at a Berlin train station and ran away when federal agents approached him.

Reports say that a police spokesperson said on Thursday, “We are investigating all possibilities,” adding that the suspect has not yet been named.

The event happened at Neukölln station on Wednesday afternoon, and the man got away after police got involved. According to a story on the social media site X, explosives were found in the bag he left behind.

After that, the bag was taken to a nearby park, where a planned explosion took place.

Bild newspaper said the bag had triacetone triperoxide (TATP) in it, which is a dangerous explosive powder that is often used by extremists.

The police have not confirmed or refuted this information about the type of bomb that went off.
