Ayesha Howard Gives Birth to a Daughter During NBA Star Anthony Edwards’ Paternity Case

This month, it was announced that Ayesha Howard, the Instagram model who has been rumored to be the mother of a child with Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards, gave birth to a girl. The happy arrival comes after Edwards filed a court case recently, asking for a DNA test to determine the paternity of the kid they might have conceived together.

According to Page Six, Howard announced the birth of her baby on Instagram on October 23. The Instagram star posted multiple pictures of herself showing off her enormous baby bulge, wearing a purple maternity dress, and wearing her hair pulled back with a headband. There was also a sonogram of her newborn daughter on the carousel.

She said in the caption, “Golden girls,” that her kid had arrived on “10/14.” On her Instagram Story, Howard continued to provide additional details of her delivery, stating that although it was “painful,” she managed to finish the exhausting procedure in “15 minutes.” Although the mother stated that she would provide followers with more details about her delivering experience at a later time, Howard did not disclose Edward’s name in her article.

The excellent news came about a month after in September, 23-year-old Edwards petitioned Howard for child support and paternity. The NBA player asked the court last month to provide Howard and her child with DNA tests.

According to Page Six, the paperwork said, “The petitioner requests an order establishing the minor child’s paternity if genetic testing reveals that the petitioner is the father.”

The day after Howard gave birth, on October 15, Edwards filed a fresh suit, according to Us Weekly, asking that DNA testing be carried out by a “neutral and licensed laboratory” for accuracy. He asked for a court order to establish his parental rights and set up child support if the results verified his paternity. On November 13, there will be a case status conference.

Rapper Lil Baby and Howard already have a small son named Jason. According to rumors, Edwards gave birth to at least three kids recently. According to Us Weekly, Edwards and his longtime girlfriend Shannon welcomed a baby daughter on March 2. He made waves when he left a Timberwolves game at halftime to be at her side throughout the delivery.

A year after beauty influencer Daja purportedly gave birth to a daughter, Aris, with the basketball player in September 2023, Shannon reportedly gave birth. Reports state that when Daja announced her delivery, she made no mention of or disclosure of Edwards.

His family story was further complicated in July 2024 when Ally D, a woman, came out to claim that Edwards had been an absent father to her son, Amir, who was purportedly born shortly before his daughter with Daja. How Edwards got to know Daja, Ally D, or Howard is unknown.
