Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony: Big Artists Scheduled to Attend: Dr. Dre, Busta Rhymes

Artists confirmed to perform at the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony include Dua Lipa, Busta Rhymes, and Dr. Dre.

A Tribe Called Quest, Mary J. Blige, Cher, Dave Matthews Band, Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Kool and the Gang, Ozzy Osbourne, and Cher will all be honored at a ceremony in Cleveland on October 19th for the class of 2024.

It was confirmed on Wednesday that seventeen names will be performing or making a speech in honor of one of the honorees.

Additionally scheduled to make appearances are Busta Rhymes, Dr. Dre, Ella Mai, James Taylor, Julia Roberts, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Lucky Daye, and Mac McAnally.

The Roots, Sammy Hagar, Roger Daltrey, Method Man, and Slash will all perform live.

Other honorees include the late Jimmy Buffett, MC5, Dionne Warwick, and Norman Whitfield, who were selected for their musical excellence, and Alexis Korner, John Mayall, and Big Mama Thornton, who were recognized for their musical influence.

Disney Plus will broadcast live coverage of the induction ceremony, which takes place at Cleveland, Ohio’s Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse.

Cher refused to become a member of the select club after her name was omitted from the ballots, leading to her admittance into the Hall of Fame.

The singer made note of the fact that she is the first solo performer in history to have seven decades’ worth of number one chart hits.

The Rolling Stones, who were admitted in 1989, are the only other act to have accomplished the same accomplishment.

Cher lost her temper and said, “It took four of them to be one of me,” during an interview on “The Kelly Clarkson Show.” And the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame does not include me.

She continued, saying, “I’m not joking.

“I was about to give you the s*! You know what, even if they had given me a million dollars, I wouldn’t be in it right now. I’m not going to have second thoughts. They are free to do as they like.
