Lupita Nyong’o is thrilled about being on Times Square

Miss Nyong’o told them with joy that the moment they had all been waiting for had finally come.

Lupita Nyong’o, who has won many awards, was just on Times Square, and she can’t calm down!

The actress, model, author, and now content creator shared the news on her Instagram page while she and a friend were enjoying the launch of their podcast, which was their latest accomplishment.

The videographer asked Lupita if she was ready for the moment while they were waiting for the post to show up on one of New York’s big street screens. The actress nervously replied that nothing could have prepared her for the moment.

“What do you know? “I… I am not,” the 41-year-old Oscar winner stuttered as she held her breath and turned to look at the street.

She also said straight out that she hadn’t planned to be on Times Square, even though she had dreamed for years of starting her show to share personal stories and give other Africans a place to speak out.

“This is something I never thought I’d see.” Putting up a sign in Times Square for a project I had a dream of…” As she stood across the street from where her billboard was meant to go up, Lupita told it like it was.

Making a lot of noise, like a kid in a candy store As her cameraman pans the camera to show Lupita’s latest project splashed across one of the city’s huge bright screens, Miss Nyong’o joyfully tells them that the moment they’ve been waiting for is finally here.

“Oh my God!” And just like that, it’s gone, Mommy! We did it!” The star said with joy as she shook with excitement.

Being fully aware of how precious the moment was made her laugh and smile turn into tears of pride and self-fulfillment.

“That’s really special, oh my God…” As Lupita tried to hold back tears that were about to fall, she put her hand on her heart and said. “That was cool… that’s all folks! “Come back next week for another episode,” she said with a smile as she wiped her tears away with the back of her fingers after letting them fall for a while.

Along with a bunch of heart emojis, the “A Quiet Place: The Origin” star captioned the photo, “When your dream comes true in TIMES SQUARE!!!” Thanks, Amazon Music, for this big love. “Take care of your own love!”
