Joker Companion Album to Be Released by Lady Gaga

An accompanying album for ‘Joker: Folie a Deux’ is scheduled to be released by Lady Gaga.

Gaga, who is 38 years old, will release a new 13-song album titled “Harlequin” on Friday (27.09.24). The 38-year-old pop icon will be featured in the new psychological thriller film alongside Joaquin Phoenix.

The award-winning actor, who portrays Harley Quinn in the follow-up to 2019’s “Joker,” posted on Instagram, “Harlequin.” September 27th. Folie a Deux is a companion album to Joker.

Over the past few days, Gaga has been teasing the release of her new album on social media. She has posted cryptic messages such as “I’m ready for my interview” and “Don’t tell me what to wear.”

The new album’s tracklist implies that the album will incorporate new material with adaptations from ‘Joker: Folie a Deux’, such as ‘Oh, When the Saints’.

In the interim, Gaga recently disclosed that she “penned a waltz for the film.”

In an interview with Vogue, Gaga disclosed, “I requested that a live piano player, Alex Smith, accompany me during my scenes.” In certain scenes of the film, I portray an adult woman who sings with the vocal range of a child. And I found it intriguing that she is traversing the world with this level of immaturity.

Gaga has also noted that ‘Joker: Folie a Deux’ has some “musical aspects,” but it is still “very different” from a conventional musical.

Previous film credits for the singer-turned-actress include “House of Gucci” and “A Star is Born.”
