The actress Tia Mowry has disclosed that she is no longer in close contact with her twin sister, Tamera

In recent years, there has been a significant rift between Tia Mowry and her sister Tamera.

In the 1990s sitcom “Sister, Sister,” the 46-year-old actress gained recognition alongside her twin sister. However, after her divorce from Cory Hardrict in 2023, she has stated that she simply wishes to communicate with her former co-star in the midst of the loneliness of divorce. She is the mother of Cree, 13, and Cairo, a six-year-old daughter.

In a clip from her forthcoming WE TV series ‘Tia Mowry: My Next Act,’ she stated, “I was born with a twin and immediately entered into a 22-year relationship, so I have never been alone in my life.” It has been an extensive voyage. The most difficult aspect of my divorce has been having to be alone.

“It is during these moments that I yearn for the days when my sister and I were still close, and I could simply pick up the phone and call her.”

“However, that is not the current situation.”

Nevertheless, an insider clarified that the former Nickelodeon star was merely discussing the logistics of her current residence with her sister, as they downplayed any suggestion of a dispute between the two.

According to the source, the sisters remain in constant contact; however, the quote in question pertains to their physical separation, as Tamera resides in Napa and Tia in Los Angeles.

In the meantime, Tia recently reminded her followers that divorce is never a “one-size-fits-all” situation.
