In response to Diddy’s sex trafficking charges, Moses “Shyne” Barrow says the disgraced defendant “destroyed his life”

As Leader of the Opposition in the Belize House of Representatives and former Bad Boy rapper, Moses “Shyne” Barrow, has spoken out about Sean “Diddy” Combs, who was arrested earlier this week and held without bond on charges of fraud and sex trafficking. Combs is in a lot of trouble.

Frankly, a lot of people were probably waiting to hear what Shyne had to say about it all because, well, a lot of people blame Diddy for what many see as his unfair imprisonment, which includes Shyne.

LoveFM Belize says that he told the press that Diddy “sent him to prison,” which isn’t a big surprise.

“Being locked up, sick, or confined to a bed is something I would never want my worst enemy to go through.” Barrow said this at a news conference in Belize on Wednesday: “So, I don’t enjoy other people’s problems, whether they have to do with the criminal justice system or not.” “But let me make that clear. When you talk about the relationship, you have to be honest. When I was on trial, this person basically testified against me. I was only 18 years old and wanted to do one thing: make my mother and Belize happy, and do what all of us want to do: be famous for our skills and take over the world. While I was defending him, he called witnesses to speak against me, which I helped with. He pretty much sent me to prison. That’s why you should always talk about that relationship in that way.

Shyne told Diddy he “forgave” him and “moved on,” but he also said, “Let’s not act like I was in Miami for Christmas and Thanksgiving.”

In June 2001, after a shooting at a nightclub in New York City where Diddy and Jennifer Lopez, who was dating Diddy at the time, were present, Shyne was charged with assault and given a 10-year prison term. That night, Lopez, Diddy, and Diddy’s guardian did not face any charges. However, Shyne, who has said he never shot anyone, was arrested and sent to jail. Notably, the shooting victim, Natania Reuben, has long said that Diddy shot her in the face. She was happy about Diddy’s arrest and told the Daily Beast on Wednesday that she “screamed out to God, ‘Thank you, merciful father!'” when her daughter told her the news.

Anyways, during the press meeting, reporters asked Shyne about his relationship with Diddy now that he was out of jail. Shyne pushed back and said that Diddy “destroyed” his life.

He said, “Let’s not lose sight of the cold, hard facts.” “This isn’t someone I went on vacation with and had a great, close relationship with like a brother.” Although this person ruined my life, I forgave them and moved on. For the good of Belize, because he had the power to give scholarships and maybe even invest, I wouldn’t deny trying to bring the investment and contribution to education to Belize.
