Michael Jackson’s brother Tito has passed away at the age of 70

A definitive cause of death has not yet been established.

Reports from US media indicate that Tito Jackson, the brother of the deceased Michael Jackson and a founding member of the Jackson 5 pop group, has passed away at the age of 70.

Tito was a member of the renowned ensemble alongside his deceased siblings Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael, all passed away in 2009.

He was recently in Munich in preparation for a performance that the musical ensemble was scheduled to deliver.

According to Steve Manning, a close associate of the Jackson family and former manager of the Jackson family, Jackson passed away on Monday evening.

Jackson’s three sons, Taj, Taryll, and TJ Jackson, who were themselves an R’n’B/pop trio known as 3T in the 1990s, verified the news in an Instagram post.

Following their appearance at Boogietown, a UK music festival that celebrated funk, soul, and disco in Surrey, The Jacksons made a visit to Germany on 10 September.

All of his siblings, with the exception of Michael who passed away at the age of 50 in June 2009, are now living.

Joe Jackson, the father of the family, passed away in 2018 at the age of 89.

The ensemble of artists and vocalists has achieved a cumulative total of 27 national chart-topping songs in the United States.

Concurrently with his involvement in the band, Tito also pursued a solo career as a blues musician, commencing in 2003.
