Kamala Harris is endorsed by “Childless Cat Lady” Taylor Swift

A fake image made by AI of the singer endorsing Trump that showed up on his website made her decide to officially back Harris.

Following the presidential debate on Tuesday night, Taylor Swift openly backed Kamala Harris for president. She did this through an Instagram post with the name “Childless Cat Lady.”

This nickname came from a comment made by Trump’s vice-presidential candidate JD Vance in 2021, in which he called Harris and other Democrats “childless cat ladies” living unhappy lives.

Swift made her first public comment about the 2024 election in a post that said she supported Harris because she fights for important issues.

Swift called Harris a “steady-handed, gifted leader” and said she thought the country could do more with calm guidance instead of chaotic one.

Swift supported Harris and praised her choice for vice president, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, for his longtime support of LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and women’s right to control their own bodies.

Swift decided to openly support Harris in part because of a fake picture of her endorsing Trump that was posted on his website.

This event made her worry even more about AI and fake news, which is why she explained how she really planned to vote.

Fans of Taylor Swift, who call themselves “Swifties,” were angry that Trump used the fake picture and said he was sharing false information.

Swift’s support came after a heated 90-minute debate that touched on themes like immigration, abortion rights, and the economy.

Swift’s political views are well known because she has backed President Joe Biden and Harris in 2020.

Her fans already back Harris, so it’s possible that she won’t have much of an effect on getting people to register to vote. However, her post got over 4.5 million likes in just a few hours.

Swift told first-time voters to sign up to vote and said, “I’ve done my research, and I’ve made my choice.” She also promised to post more voting information on her page. You alone are responsible for your study and decision.
