The actress from ‘Wizards of Waverly Place,’ aged 32, recently disclosed her intention to adopt a child prior to her relationship with music producer Benny Blanco, aged 36, with whom she has been in a relationship since 2023. She has now expressed that she has experienced a process of “grieving” regarding her inability to conceive naturally.

In a statement to Vanity Fair, she disclosed, “I haven’t ever said this, but I unfortunately can’t carry my own children.”

“The presence of multiple medical conditions poses a risk to both my life and the life of the fetus.” The subject experienced a period of mourning that required a significant duration of time.

Selena expressed her ongoing determination to pursue motherhood through an alternative approach, stating, “It’s not necessarily the way I envisioned it.” The expectation was that the occurrence would transpire in a manner consistent with typical experiences of others.

In 2013, Selena was diagnosed with lupus. Four years later, she successfully underwent a kidney transplant.
