Eminem announced as the opening act for the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards

Eminem is scheduled to perform the opening act at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards.

The artist known for the track ‘Lose Yourself’ last performed at the Video Music Awards (VMAs) in 2010, where he opened the event with a performance of ‘Not Afraid’ and subsequently collaborated with Rihanna on the song ‘Love The Way You Lie.’ He is nominated for eight awards at the current year’s ceremony.

The hip hop icon is scheduled to perform on Wednesday, November 9, 2024, at New York’s UBS Arena, in addition to being a contender for the Moon Person statue.

The event will represent the inaugural television performance of material from the recent album titled ‘The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grace)’, which includes the successful singles ‘Houdini’, ‘Tobey’, and ‘Somebody Save Me’.
