FIFA and UEFA are harshly criticized by Kevin De Bruyne

Kevin De Bruyne, the captain of Belgium, has taken a strong stance against FIFA and UEFA over the recent changes to the Club World Cup and the Champions League.
Speaking candidly, Kevin De Bruyne proved this Thursday at a news conference preceding Belgium vs. Israel that he is not one to hold back.

The Manchester City player claimed that FIFA and UEFA are driven solely by money when questioned about this new, tough season that includes the Champions League and the Club World Cup reforms.

“I believe the issue will arise after the Club World Cup is over. We are aware that the Club World Cup championship match and the Premier League opening day will occur in only three weeks. You have three weeks to plan a vacation and get ready to play eighty more games. FIFA and UEFA are playing extra games, which is the issue. Despite our best efforts, no workable solution has been found. They don’t give a damn. Money speaks,” remarked De Bruyne.
