Adele reportedly declined a $200 million offer to extend her tour.

The 36-year-old pop superstar has been conducting her ‘Weekends With Adele’ residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas since late 2022. In August, she added a brief run of 10 shows in Germany. However, her Sin City concerts are scheduled to conclude in November, as the singer intends to take a lengthy break from work. A recent report alleges that she declined a substantial salary in order to perform additional concerts, including stadium shows in Europe, Asia, and South America, as well as a lucrative residency at a casino in Macau, China.

According to a source who spoke with Alison Boshoff of the Daily Mail, “She has declined numerous offers on account of her desire to remain at home with her child.”

“The Chinese deal placed millions of dollars on the table; however, she ultimately declined to participate.” She prioritizes herself, her child, and her lover.

Adele is engaged to her sports agent companion, Rich Paul, and she is the mother of her son Angelo, who will be 12 years old in October, from her previous marriage to Simon Konecki.

The singer disclosed her intention to take a break during the final performance of her Germany residency in Munich on August 31. She informed the audience, “I have ten shows remaining, but I will not see you for an extended period.” I will cherish you in my spirit.

Adele also denied that she has any forthcoming music, as she stated to German outlet ZDF: “I have no plans for new music at all.”

“I am interested in taking a significant break after this, and I believe that I would like to engage in other creative pursuits for a brief period.”

She previously stated to concert attendees at Caesar’s Palace earlier this year, “I simply do not believe that I will be able to compose an album for an extended period.”

“Nevertheless, the next time I do so, I will visit you at your residence.”

The singer of “Chasing Pavements” also disclosed the reason for her prolonged absence from the public eye prior to the release of her most recent album.
