Harris supports arming Israel with guns and pledges to take a harsher stance on migration

In her inaugural interview with a prominent news organization after assuming the role of Democratic presidential nominee, Kamala Harris expressed her commitment to adopting a more stringent strategy towards migration along the U.S. southern border. Additionally, she affirmed her stance on not withholding weapons from Israel.

During the interview with CNN anchor Dana Bash, Harris aimed to demonstrate her expertise on various issues and provide Americans with a clear understanding of her policy stances. This effort comes at a crucial time, as there are only two months remaining until Election Day on November 5th.

Harris expressed her intention to initiate a renewed effort towards the enactment of comprehensive border legislation aimed at strengthening immigration control into the United States. She also made a commitment to diligently enforce existing laws pertaining to border crossings.

“There exist laws that necessitate adherence and enforcement, which pertain to individuals who unlawfully cross our border. It is imperative that appropriate consequences are imposed,” stated Harris.

The individual in question demonstrated a consistent adherence to President Joe Biden’s unwavering endorsement of Israel, while simultaneously dismissing appeals from certain members of the Democratic Party who suggested that the United States should reconsider its provision of weaponry to Israel due to the significant number of Palestinian casualties in Gaza.

The individual expressed her support for a robust Israel, however, she emphasized the importance of reaching an agreement in order to achieve a ceasefire in the ongoing Gaza conflict.

“We must prioritize the completion of a (ceasefire and hostage) agreement,” stated Harris in response to a question regarding the possibility of withholding weapons from Israel. She has served as Vice President under President Biden since the inception of his administration.

Abbas Alawieh, one of the co-founders of the Uncommitted National Movement, which has been actively protesting against Biden’s policy, has expressed his frustration regarding Harris’ response on the situation in Gaza.

“In order for the vice president to express interest in a ceasefire, it is necessary for her to endorse an immediate cessation of sending the fire,” stated Alawieh.

Harris, accompanied by her vice presidential running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, expressed her intention to include a Republican member in her cabinet should she emerge victorious in the election.

It is crucial to include individuals with diverse perspectives and experiences in decision-making processes, especially when dealing with significant matters. The speaker expressed her belief that it would be advantageous for the American public to have a Republican member in her cabinet.

The candidate’s popularity is experiencing a surge in the polls.

Since assuming the role of the Democratic candidate for president last month, Harris has experienced a significant increase in popularity as reflected by her surge in the polls. Additionally, she has successfully generated hundreds of millions of dollars in campaign donations and delivered a series of impactful campaign speeches.

In a poll published on Thursday by Reuters/Ipsos, it was found that she is leading Trump with 45% of the votes compared to his 41%. The poll also revealed that the vice president has successfully generated new enthusiasm among voters.

It has been suggested by some critics that she may exhibit less polish in unscripted settings, such as a TV interview. However, on Thursday, she demonstrated no significant errors.

Harris provided a defense of her and Biden’s approach to managing inflation, asserting that they assumed responsibility for an economy severely impacted by the pandemic, which she claimed had been mishandled by Trump. The speaker acknowledged significant efforts to reduce prices, however, she expressed the opinion that the current prices remain excessively high.

According to Jeremi Suri, a professor of history and public affairs at the University of Texas at Austin, Kamala Harris demonstrated her expertise and ability to foster agreement during the interview. However, Suri suggests that Harris could have provided more precise and detailed responses regarding her plans for her initial day as president.

Harris has undergone a shift towards the political center on certain matters between her presidential campaign in 2020 and her assumption of the Democratic nomination to challenge former President Donald Trump in the recent election.

Her stance on migration along the southern U.S. border with Mexico has become more stringent. The user expresses a change in their stance regarding the ban on fracking, an energy production technique that is a significant source of employment in Pennsylvania. This state, along with a few others, holds the potential to determine the outcome of the election.

When questioned about her policy shifts, Harris responded by stating, “There has been no change in my values.”

Harris disregarded a statement made by Trump in which he raised doubts about her heritage as a Black American. The individual expressed their opinion by stating, “This is an example of a repetitive and unoriginal approach.” The user requests the next question to be presented.

In a post on Truth Social, former President Trump responded to the interview by expressing his anticipation for a debate with Vice President Kamala Harris, aiming to expose what he perceives as her fraudulent behavior. It is common for Trump to inaccurately label Harris as a Marxist.

Despite engaging with journalists during her campaign and participating in a TikTok interview recently, she had not conducted a one-on-one interview with a prominent network or print journalist since Biden concluded his reelection campaign on July 21 and endorsed her, until Thursday.

Bash, one of the co-moderators of the June 27 debate between Trump and Biden, which ultimately resulted in the president’s withdrawal from the race, conducted the interview in Savannah, Georgia. This interview took place while Harris and Walz were on a campaign bus tour.
