“Life is beautiful, but Juve is keeping its feet on the ground,” Motta emphasizes

Prior to Juventus’ match against Hellas Verona, coach Thiago Motta of Juventus said on Sunday that his life is great, but he is not getting ahead of himself.

After four seasons without a league title, Juventus welcomed back Motta. He started with a 3-0 victory over Como, and on Monday they will go to Verona, who opened with a 3-0 triumph over Napoli.

“We stay grounded following the first day of the championship,” Motta said to the media.

“We are now in the second day of play, and we are up against a squad that is a strong contender for the Scudetto following their win.

“We played Como at home, and we had a successful outcome and solid performance. We need to be prepared for everything because I anticipate a different narrative tomorrow.”

After leading Bologna to a fifth-place result in the previous campaign, Motta caught the interest of Juventus.

“Your perspective may be different, but on the inside, my life is full with beauty. I get up early with a lot of energy and excitement to go to training,” Motta remarked.

“I surround myself with amazing individuals that have that same passion. I tend to surround myself with men that are really driven to get better.”

The players Motta needs to contend for the championship have been slowly added by Juventus, but Argentine winger Nico Gonzalez will undergo a physical on Sunday before joining from Fiorentina.

Francisco Conceicao, another winger on loan from Porto, is anticipated to join the team.

They are going to join our squad since they are good players. We will have a huge advantage thanks to every player that shows up, according to Motta.

“That is the case for those already here and those who will arrive.”
