Ukraine’s Zelenskiy has expressed his willingness to endorse India’s hosting of a second peace summit

Volodymyr Zelenskiy, the president of Ukraine, stated on social media on Sunday that talks for the second peace summit were still in progress with Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, and Switzerland.

As Kyiv looks to the Global South for a host, Zelenskiy said that he has informed Prime Minister Narendra Modi of his support for India to hold the second peace conference.

To be honest, though, I would want to say that this goes not only for India but for any state that would be open to holding a second summit. Zelenskiy declared, “A country that has not yet signed the peace summit communiqué will not be able to host a peace summit.”

The Ukrainian president went on to say that during his Friday discussion with Modi, he went over every topic from the communiqué and prior peace summit.
