Ronaldo establishes yet another record in the AL NASSR SAUDI SUPER CUP’s victory

Cristiano Ronaldo, the striker for Al Nassr, has achieved the distinction of scoring in 23 consecutive seasons.

In the Saudi Super Cup semi-finals on Wednesday, Ronaldo scored his first goal of the 2024/2025 season as they defeated Al Taawoun 2-0.

Ayman Ahmed scored the opening goal in the eighth minute, prompting the Portugal captain to increase his team’s advantage.

Ronaldo scored from within the penalty area following a cutback from Sultan Al Ghanam.

Ronaldo achieved an unprecedented feat by scoring a goal in each of the previous 23 seasons of his career.

The 39-year-old’s first two career senior goals, which he scored for his native club Sporting CP against Moreirense on October 7, 2002, are the foundation of the record.

Ronaldo broke the league’s single-season scoring record by netting 35 league goals himself last season.

In his 31 league matches, he also provided 11 assists, resulting in a total of 46 goals.
