Taylor Swift’s “ERAS” tour in Vienna has been canceled because of a planned act of terrorism
Despite TMZ’s confirmation that two individuals had previously been detained for the purported plot, Taylor Swift’s performances in Austria have been canceled by the authorities amid fears of a planned terrorist attack.
It’s not entirely certain that the authorities have apprehended every terrorist participating in the planned assault. Although the threat has allegedly been “minimized,” a “abstract” threat is still present.
Two Austrian nationals were detained by Vienna police, according to reports, following the discovery of bomb-making components in the residence of a 19-year-old suspect.
According to police, both individuals had become radicalized and had sworn loyalty to the Islamic State.
Authorities think that one of the three performances that were scheduled to start this weekend in Vienna was the target of the men’s attack.
“Taylor Swift The Eras Tour Vienna shows canceled due to government officials confirmation of planned terrorist attack,” the Vienna authorities stated. For everyone’s safety, we are forced to cancel the three planned concerts.”
Potential concertgoers will receive full refunds from the venue.
It’s unknown if Taylor’s forthcoming performances will be impacted by the planned attack. A week from Thursday, she is expected to appear at Wembley Stadium in London.
