Tom Brady Honors His “Beautiful Kids” and “Best Family and Friends” on His 47th Birthday

Tom Brady is rejoicing in another year spent under the sun with his dear ones!

On Saturday, August 3, the seven-time Super Bowl champion and former quarterback for the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers celebrated his 47th birthday by posting a carousel of old pictures from the previous year that featured memorable times he spent with his three kids, John “Jack” Edward Thomas, 16, Benjamin Rein, 14, and Vivian Lake, 11.

He wrote, “The lost files from 46!,” as the Instagram post’s description. “What a special year with these beautiful kids, the best family and friends anyone could ask for, and all of you!”

“Let’s make 47 our greatest year ever. He concluded the tweet with a jest, saying, “Also, you get to post a selfie on your birthday, everyone chill out 😜🙌🏼🦁.”

He began his birthday Instagram carousel with a picture of himself watching his daughter jump from a rock into the water, along with the message. He also uploaded other one-on-one pictures, such as one in which he was posing with Jack while they were playing golf and another in which they were sitting on bleachers.

The family was seen in several additional pictures around the globe and appearing at various occasions, one of which seemed to be a racing competition. Brady and his children were seen taking a photo in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, and Brady was also seen waving a peace sign.

There were also glimpses of an outside excursion with Benjamin and Vivian in the adorable slideshow, including a picture of the two of them holding up nets while posing. Brady’s last photo on social media had the sportsman enjoying the sun while topless on a boat in a solitary selfie.

Brady shares Benjamin and Vivian with his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, and Jack with his ex-girlfriend, the actress Bridget Moynahan.

According to a source who spoke to PEOPLE last year, Brady and his 11-year-old daughter Vivian Lake traveled to Tanzania to celebrate Brady’s 46th birthday. Brady’s favorite animal, according to his daughter, is the zebra, so the two went on a safari and saw some big cats first.

The Patriots Hall of Fame inductee shared a picture of Vivian’s scribbled note on the sand on his Instagram Stories. She wrote, “My dad adores zebras.” He also gave his followers close-up pictures of an elephant and a lion. 

Brady, meanwhile, celebrated his 47th birthday two days after posting some adorable pictures of himself and Vivian on Instagram. The beaming father was spotted putting a peck on his daughter’s cheek, haggling with her over cotton candy, and spending time on a boat.

The carousel, which also included Michael Rubin and his 18-year-old daughter Kylie, had Brady captioning it at the time, “Dinner, negotiating over dessert, and a 46-year-old dad who was just told ‘do something cool’ 😂.”
