The “Otaku Hot Girl” recently responded to a viral video from BlerDCon 2026 that many fans believed was a first glimpse of her upcoming Amazon Prime Video project, Hotties. The snippet featured an animated character with “twerking powers,” which some considered fitting for her brand. However, Megan swiftly corrected this misconception on Sunday.
The Houston artist clarified on Twitter that the footage is actually a discarded concept from her 2022 “Traumazine” era.
“This is NOT a ‘sneak peek’ or a ‘snippet’ of my new anime ‘hotties’ …” she stated, addressing a fan. “This clip is from a music video for my song ‘Gift and a Curse’ that I never released… everyone, please relax; you all haven’t seen what my show looks like yet, lol.” I want to emphasize that this video is not a snippet of my new anime!!
