Jeremih Pulls Out of “Boys 4 Life” Tour Due to Significant Health Issues

R&B star pauses 28-city tour to prioritize medical recovery under doctor supervision.

Jeremih has officially stepped back from the “Boys 4 Life” Tour as the highly anticipated throwback tour gears up for its 28-city journey.

The singer of “Don’t Tell ‘Em,” who was scheduled to perform with B2K, Bow Wow, and Amerie, informed his fans on Friday via a statement on social media, disclosing that a current health issue has rendered it impossible for him to take part.

The announcement, accompanied by a photo of him in the studio, emphasized that his medical team is treating the situation with utmost seriousness. “Due to a serious medical condition, Jeremih will be unable to participate in the upcoming B2K tour scheduled to begin in March,” the caption of the post stated. “He is managing a health issue, and his doctor is closely monitoring his condition.”

The exact details of this recent setback remain unspecified, yet the news has sparked immediate worry among fans who recall his challenging struggle with multisystem inflammatory syndrome (MIS) in late 2020. The singer faced a rare and perilous condition that resulted in severe organ inflammation, leading to an extended stay in intensive care and necessitating extensive physical therapy to restore his mobility.

Although missing the tour is disappointing, Jeremih’s team has stressed that his long-term wellness is the top priority at this time. The statement wrapped up by highlighting that the singer and his close associates “are dedicated to his care and recovery and are profoundly appreciative of the understanding, patience, and ongoing support from fans, partners, and the touring team during this period.”

The “Boys 4 Life” tour, featuring Pretty Ricky, Yung Joc, and Waka Flocka Flame, is set to kick off on Saturday, March 7, at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Although the show will continue, Jeremih’s absence will undoubtedly be noticeable throughout the remaining 27 dates.
