Cardi B Holding Tasha K Accountable for That $4M Debt
TMZ has reported that Cardi is advocating for in-person testimony and comprehensive income records following their settlement.
The ongoing $4M legal battle between Cardi B and Tasha K continues to make waves, with tensions rising once more behind the scenes.
TMZ has reported that Cardi B is insisting that blogger Tasha K appear in person to respond to inquiries regarding her finances as part of the continuing repercussions from their multimillion-dollar judgment.
Recently submitted documents in Tasha’s bankruptcy case in Florida indicate that Cardi is seeking comprehensive records related to Tasha’s income. They claim that this includes earnings from YouTube and other social media platforms. She is requesting copies of tax returns along with other financial documents.
This action follows the settlement the two parties reached in March 2025, several months prior. Tasha has consented to pay a part of the $3.9 million she owes in connection with the defamation lawsuit. A jury had previously determined that Tasha made false and defamatory statements regarding Cardi, which included allegations related to drug use.
As part of the settlement agreement, Tasha consented to pay .2 million over a period of five years. She must also submit financial records every quarter. Furthermore, she consented to refrain from making negative comments about Cardi on her platforms.
Cardi now seems to seek more direct supervision. While the agreement remains active, she is advocating for a more thorough examination of Tasha’s income streams and the management of payments.
Although the paperwork indicates a settlement, this chapter feels more like oversight.
The defamation lawsuit might find resolution within court records, yet the oversight phase remains evidently active. If Cardi is inquiring, she anticipates responses.
