Ghislaine Maxwell’s brother claims she is being used as the “scapegoat” for the crimes of Jeffrey Epstein

Ian Maxwell stands by his sister’s 20-year sentence and targets the late Virginia Giuffre in a recent interview.

In a recent interview with The Telegraph published on February 20, Ian Maxwell discussed his sister’s 20-year prison sentence and expressed his belief that she was targeted.

My sister is the scapegoat. “Someone had to bear the consequences of Epstein’s actions, and thus the government and the media selected her,” remarked the British businessman. “I truly think that if Epstein were still alive, he would be in prison and she would be at liberty.”

Ian expressed his thoughts candidly regarding Ghislaine’s arrest in 2020, an event he observed as it was reported on the news.

“They dispatched a helicopter and 20 armed agents, as if she posed a threat to society.” “It was unbelievable, completely shocking,” he reminisced to The Telegraph. “That was the moment my sister was unfairly blamed for the horrific actions committed by Jeffrey Epstein.” He described her conviction as both unsafe and unfair, even drawing a comparison to Sean “Diddy” Combs’ recent federal conviction.

“You have a scenario where an individual like P. Diddy appears before the same federal court facing the same charge and is sentenced to four-and-a-half years for severe physical battery, while my sister is given 20 years,” Ian continued.

Currently, Ghislaine is serving her time at FPC Bryan, a minimum-security facility located in Texas, where she is said to assist fellow inmates with their legal matters. Ian observed that she is “on the right side of history” and contends that feminists ought to support her, given her mistreatment by the system. He remains optimistic that Trump may extend clemency to her.

“There’s a perspective that feminists ought to support Ghislaine, as she is a woman who has faced terrible treatment by the system,” he explained. “However, I am convinced that my sister stands on the right side of history.”

The Maxwells are deeply committed to family loyalty, and Ian voiced his frustration regarding Ghislaine’s inability to access a computer to read the newly released DOJ files that he believes could benefit her case. “Blood is always thicker than water,” the businessman remarked to The Telegraph.

“The reality is, she’s my younger sister, and there’s a lack of support for her; she requires someone to stand by her.” “That’s where family plays a crucial role.”

Regarding the late Virginia Giuffre, who accused Epstein and former Prince Andrew of sexual abuse, Ian displayed a complete lack of sympathy.

“I am aware of who the true monster is in this situation, and it is not my sister; it is Virginia Giuffre and her fabrications that have caused significant harm to Ghislaine.” “I didn’t shed a tear when she died,” he remarked.
