Tanzania’s Twiga Stars are gearing up to participate in the Pink Ladies Cup 2026
Tanzania’s women’s national team has intensified their preparations for the upcoming Pink Ladies Cup 2026.
The Twiga Stars are set to take part in the 4-Nations tournament scheduled from February 28th to March 6th in the United Arab Emirates.
Coach Bakari Shime will use the tournament to prepare for the upcoming 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON). Shime expressed, “We have already begun our preparations, and we anticipate that the Pink Ladies Cup will assist us in fine-tuning ahead of the WAFCON.”
The other teams participating in the Pink Ladies Cup are Ghana, Russia, and Hong Kong.
