Germany will continue to pursue the opportunity to host the 2036 Summer Olympics, even though its president has voiced apprehensions regarding the centenary of the Nazi-era Berlin Games, stated the nation’s Olympic sports leader, Thomas Weikert on Saturday.
The German Olympic Sports Federation (DOSB) is set to make a decision later this year regarding the nomination of a candidate from Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, or the Rhine-Ruhr region for the 2036, 2040, or 2044 Games.
