RwandAir flights to Nairobi have been disrupted due to a labor dispute at JKIA
RwandAir has announced that certain flights to and from Nairobi may be impacted due to ongoing operational disruptions at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).
The disruptions are associated with a labor dispute involving airport workers and the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA), leading to interruptions in airport operations.
On Monday, February 16, RwandAir announced that flight WB453 has been postponed to 20:50 local time, and that flight WB402, which was set for February 16, has been cancelled. Passengers who have booked on WB403 will be re-accommodated on WB453.
The airline stated that its teams are diligently monitoring the situation and are committed to assisting affected travelers.
In the meantime, the Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) has announced that contingency plans are in place, and passengers are encouraged to reach out to their airlines for the most current flight updates.
