Super Eagles forward Samuel Chukwueze is saddened with the death of his mother after a brief illness.

Super Eagles forward and Fulham FC star Samuel Chukwueze has been forced into sadness following the loss of his mother after a brief illness.

The news was made public by his brother, David Chukwueze, who shared heartbreaking remarks on his Instagram story to notify the passing.

He said, “You didn’t even carry your grandchild,” “My forever love just left me without saying goodbye,” and “Can’t even post your picture to say RIP Mum” in different posts.

Samuel Chukwueze, a member of the Super Eagles team that placed third at the just finished Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, has not yet responded to the defeat in public.

The mourning comes days after another tragedy shook the Super Eagles camp, with team captain Wilfred Ndidi recently losing his father in a car accident.
